Introduction[edit]

This reference describes TG's import and export of Autodesk® FBX® files.

FBX Compatibility[edit]

This page describes the FBX elements TG can import and export, including which TG nodes and parameters can be imported/exported.

Import/Export Windows[edit]

FBX Export: Scene[edit]

This dialog contains settings for exporting scenes to FBX. It's shown when you choose "Export FBX Scene…" from the File menu.

FBX Import: Animation[edit]

This dialog is shown if you choose to import animation when importing an FBX using the FBX Import: Scene dialog.

FBX Import: Camera[edit]

This dialog contains settings for importing a camera from an FBX file. It's shown when you import an FBX file from the Camera node.

FBX Import: Scene[edit]

This dialog contains settings for importing scenes from an FBX file. It's shown when choose "Import FBX Scene…" from the File menu.

A single object or device in the node network which generates or modifies data and may accept input data or create output data or both, depending on its function. Nodes usually have their own settings which control the data they create or how they modify data passing through them. Nodes are connected together in a network to perform work in a network-based user interface. In Terragen 2 nodes are connected together to describe a scene.
