The Shifter colour picker panel lets you shift the tone and brightness of the colour by small increments.

The main part of the panel is a collection of colour chips and + and - buttons. These shifters allow you to add or subtract a bit of the particular colour from the original colour. The left column works for red, green and blue. The right column works for cyan, magenta and yellow.

Let's look at the red shifter, in the top left. Clicking the + button will add a little red to the colour. Clicking the - button will take away a little red from the colour. The colour chips next to the button show what the colour will look like if you click that button.

Beneath the shifters are two buttons, Darker and Lighter. Click a button to make the colour darker or lighter. The colour chips beside the buttons show what the colour will look like if you click that button.
