The image was rendered in Terragen and a world and surface map file I previously had played around with were used for the planet effects with further modification Then in Photoshop I added the starry sky by use of the Unverse Plug In, and the two nebula the same way, and added the green sun through a further Plug In Filter with some final adjustment after that.
