The landscape,clouds ,atmosphere and lighting is all made with terragen . The moon and flares were made with photoshop and a lot of luck. Most difficult were the reflections from flares and moon in the water (all done in post-processing)

"I like this image except for, what to me, was a glaring problem. There's a star/sun in _front_ of the big moon. Maybe it's not supposed to be a star, but it seems that way to me, so it threw me off a little. Other than that, good job, especially on adding in your own reflections. :)"
