Original image created at 2560 x 1920 in Terragen. One copy was converted to grayscale, then colors were increased to 24-bit to allow layering. I selected a square area of the original image and used Paint Shop Pro 6's Image / Deformation / Spherical Filter to create the round colored image. I then created the frame for the lens by using 3D objects creator in SPG Web Tools (a PSP and Photoshop plug-in). The handle for the glass was created using a cylinder primitive in trueSpace 4.3. The lettering was made with SPG Web Tools, and the "claw" was modified from a clipart collection. Once all the pieces were ready, they were manuevered into position with layers in Paint Shop Pro 6 "Nicely done" "Awesome! Simply awesome!" "Clever idea liked it" "Great effect well well done" "Good Idea, nice to look at, technically excellent postprocessing " ": Funny, and the creator have done a lot of thinking behinde the picture" "This became my #1 as soon as I saw it! A clever use of post-processing to emphasize the Terragen aspects of the picture. VERY IMAGINATIVE - I love it!" "Cool concept! I like the idea of the magnifying glass." "Very well thought up, and created. Nice job." "Extraordinary idea - Alien examination of - maybe ? - planet earth with a magnifying-glass - great display of post-processing-functions ... special idea gets my "Special Mention" !" "Loved that whatever examining the black & white world" "Love the magnifying glass effect!" |
