"This is Mt. Ranier. No question about it." "Hey, it's Mt. Rainier! The atmospheric effect from havingthe sun there is good, but this image would've been betterif the sun were in a place where its shadows could show a bit more depth to the terrain. I like the surface map." "Could this be a real photograph?Yes this could be a real photograph...(Tim?) [editor's note - NOPE :)]" "Nice child surface. I want to know how he did it so realisticly." "I don't think it really looks like Mt Rainier, really... but it looks great. Even the surface map is good, without having to resort to low lighting to hide any flaws. The silouette effect covers pretty nicely. :) I like the sun rays, quite realistic." "The sun cresting over the crag really pulls this picture together... looks like something from a National Geographic special... not having anything too close to the camera really makes it an effective shot too." "it took me a while to settle on this image, but after very close inspection: it is flawless. the only reason i didn't vote for it as best was for lack of visual interest. barring that, this simple image is probably the best i've seen from terragen." "looks just like snow should fall onto the rocky landscape." |
