The Terracon Archives
Terracon was a popular Terragen contest which ran for a considerable period of time.
It was started in 1998 by Sauro "L'Alieno" Pasquini. Toward the end of
1999 Tim and Angela O'Donoghue took it over and did an excellent job of running it
up until late 2002, and we greatly appreciate their effort in doing so. Terracon had
a wide variety of topics and encouraged some highly creative and truly innovative
use of Terragen. It encompasses some watershed moments in Terragen's history.
We decided to host the Terracon archives as a way of giving something back to the
Terragen community. Those who were using Terragen during that time will recall
the big part the contest played. While the archives don't necessarily represent the
cutting in edge in Terragen images anymore, we enjoyed looking through the archives
when Tim sent them to us and we hope you will too.
Please keep in the mind that the Terracon Archives as presented are a snapshot of
the past. There may be broken links and some corrupted images. We apologise if
something of yours hasn't quite made it through to the archive, but the large
amount of content involved precludes checking everything. The archives are largely
complete though. Without further ado, we present for your viewing pleasure the Terracon Archives. If you wish to link to the archives, please link to this page rather than the archive index. |
