Terragen - photorealistic scenery rendering software

Terragen™ Price Rise

From August 15th (2004) the registration price for Terragen will be going up to $99 USD, from $79 USD. There are a number of factors which contribute to the need to raise the price. A major one is the weakness of the US Dollar. We've effectively been selling Terragen at a considerable discount for many months now. A number of other smaller software companies have also had to raise their prices because of this.

Even with the price rise, we still believe Terragen represents good value for money, particularly considering the wide range of products it is used in. Of course we are working to bring more worthwhile features to Terragen, to make it even better value.

We've decided to delay the price increase until August 15th to give everyone who has been thinking about registering a chance to do so at the current price of $79. Along with our ability to accept credit card payments directly we also want to give everyone who hasn't registered because they didn't want to (or couldn't) use PayPal a chance to register before the price goes up.

One of the benefits of registering now is that when Terragen 2 is available you will get at least $99 off the price of registering that, which means by registering now you effectively save another $20 off Terragen 2. This applies to everyone who has already registered Terragen as well.

Of course we'd like to thank everyone who has registered Terragen already. Your support is what makes it possible for us to continue developing it. Over the coming year we hope to make Terragen the most powerful, versatile, easy to use and realistic landscape rendering software available.
