New documentation: Populator Guide and Rendering Methods

Hi everyone,

We have some new documentation available. The first is a Populator Guide, discussing how the Populator node works and how to use it. There are some example projects included. You can read the Guide here:

The second new piece of documentation is an addition to the User Guide which gives some background on the rendering methods used by TG:

Thanks Jo. There's probably no way to bend/warp the line that holds instances like in your first example? Imagine a winding road where you'd want trees at even distances, but alongside the road...

Hi Ulco,

I really couldn't say for sure, but I expect not. My doubt is that I hadn't thought of some of the things you've done with the Simple Shape Shader :-). Being able to place instances along a curve would certainly be a useful capability though.
