a quick proof of concept sketch using new cloud restriction functions and some camera trickery...It was a bit fiddly to start, but I will post a clip file of the refined version if anyone is interested...

Heehee, Jason! I have almost that exact .tgd from last year but without the new cloud controls; beammeupscotty.tgd, I called it. :D I used just a simple shape to define the beam. I should look that one out now and get busy with the new settings, cheers for the reminder!

Cool work, very Zelda-esque! ;)

Those animal mutilations are a mystery; but, I think you nailed the cause here. Your UFO model is excellent as is the composition. Two things: you might consider making the cow smaller; and, maybe trying a night background. In all, this looks like is was a fun project.

Dune

You could have done this simpler; just throw a camera on the ground, point it up, attach it to a distance shader and use as blender for a cloud. But I like the image  ;)

Looking real good! Now, the addition of a few more grazing cattle surrounding the area would be good; and, the addition of some low grasses.

More objects, and cows would be good. This is beginning to have a movie poster look. It's coming along nice.

I like the look on the cow's face! Must be great to be lifted like that. Cows in Heaven.

Very cool work Jason :)
A bit odd to say maybe, but I like the realistic perspective of the ground, cows and clouds :)
