Title: new TG2 tutorials (mostly very basic)
Post by: bugfish on January 26, 2007, 12:15:45 AM
I've created a site with a few basic (very) tutorials.  They cover things like camera movement, an example of how to use a .tgc file and some Atmospheric tutorials/exercises.  The site can be found here:

http://home.comcast.net/~proginfo.tutorial/index.html

The site has a contact page so you can email suggestions for improvements/corrections/additions.  In any case, I hope they're helpful.

I'm new to TG2 but really enjoyed tg 0.9. I love the population function but can't figure out how to alter the distribution of (say) trees within the population. I don't want a square block of trees, I want a patch with wavy edges! I want trees in the valley that slowly fizzle out on higher/steeper slopes. Do I use a distribution node? I've tried but just get no trees at all however I wire it up. I read some post about voronoi but that's beyond me I think. ??? ???
