2.2 Downloads: http://www.planetside.co.uk/content/view/21/36/
Please note: The Mac release is a Public Beta and may not be as stable as previous versions. The user interface has changed to use Cocoa and we want to test it with a large audience before making a final release. Please report any bugs or unusual behaviour you come across.
Windows users: This is a recommended update for all users of Terragen 2 Free Non-Commercial Edition for Windows.
Deep Edition and Deep Edition with Animation
While you are probably already using 2.2, we have an important update for you which fixes some memory leaks and a bug with the Perlin 3D Scalar node. Purchasers of Terragen 2 should use the Check for Updates feature in Terragen 2 to get these important fixes.
Matt
Fantastic! Keep up the great work, guys.
Hello everybody! ... quick question: Will TERRAGEN 2.2. (unlicensed - non commercial version), work on new Windows 7 OS Professional platform?
And what about Terragen V. 0.9.? I still use an ancient version of that, because it simply seems I really like it. Will that version work on Windows 7 OS platform?

your welcome.
hope everything goes well. :)
Terragen Classic (0.9) and Terragen 2 both work on Windows 7, 32 and 64 bit versions. Depending on your security and User Access Control settings you may need to install one or both with Administrator privileges.

Does Terragen Classic also work on W7 64 bit with all the plugins installed (SOPack, WaterWorks etc.)?
We do not provide support for the plugins, so I can't say for sure. But if the core application (Terragen Classic) works - and it should - then the plugins should also work.

OK, thank you :) I shall find out soon and will let you know!
Edit:
The plugins are working!
i have problem with waterworks
(http://im47.gulfup.com/YU61z.jpg) (http://www.gulfup.com/?RuElBp)
with C:\Program Files\Planetside Software\Terragen 2 Deep Edition\TGPGuiLib.prz folder.
why i cannot load library ?
Waterworks is a plugin for TG Classic, not for the actual version, not even for TG 2.
thanks hannes for the information
is there any plugins similar to waterworks, work with TG2 ?

Not at this time, no. But you can create most - if not all - of the Waterworks effects with built-in Terragen 2/3 functionality.
