Title: The Farthest Man From Home
Post by: Ethrieltd on August 05, 2017, 07:00:20 PM
Might be a bit of a cheat this one, as it was mostly done with C4D.

The starfield was made in Terragen and rendered with a spherical camera to produce the HDRI used as the background. Planet texture is an image map from somewhere. Voyager is from NASA I think. I've forgotten.

nice, so was it rendered in C4D or TG4? and is that planet part of the background or added in?

It was rendered in C4D. The planet is a C4D sphere with an image map from somewhere I forgot. The lighting on the planet is a C4D infinite light.

The background is a version of (I forget who) somebody's I got here, deleted planet and replaced background with this, rendered 2:1 with a spherical camera and imported as a sky in C4D.
