I might try installing it but I won't use it until I get a better computer. I have done this before a long time ago and there were some UI problems. I didn't specifically notice any render slowdown but that would not be good. If money was no object I would buy a Mac since they are good for audio and in fact I might buy an older Mac just to upgrade my Mac for audio purpose but I don't want to use Windows. I haven't booted to Windows for over ten years.

This is really good. The rock surfaces are perfect and various moss and plant arrangement.
If I was to try to nitpick this, the only thing i would say is that the mist looks like it has slight gaps. I'm assuming it's driven by a texture. i suppose it could look just like this but some tree branches appear to move into clearer spaces and hence the depth is lost very slightly.
I've been doing a lot of photography and it's kind of got me thinking about using Terragen again and how to create and edit to be more like photos.

Hello, I'm getting back to this and am very curious if this idea of affecting cloud settings using 'downstream' nodes was explored?

Quote from: Nala1977 on April 06, 2024, 06:50:42 AMi have the early acces and im using it, most of the nodes are disabled because they are being worked on.
The engine and the speed is incredible, light and day compared to gaea 1, there are some nodes that are crazy on what they can achieve like the sandstone and stratify.
When they will iron out all the issues and bug its going to be an amazing software.
What i can tell you so far is the speed is really fast, all erosion process takes very few and you can work basically at 2k resolution in viewport, 4k if you have a good machine. Its really spectacular
Spectacular sounds great!
Hope that they will release the final version soon...
