was doing a test render when I stopped by here and saw the thread re: populating the space vehicle and couldn't resist clicking on the object link. Looking at my finished test render I saw a spot for it and well with 2 spotlights coming from the mothership I got this image. It took 60 samples in the spotlights and 5+ hours rendering to get the light beams smooth.C&C if you like.

If you try to improve the stones like Ulco suggested I'd try to keep the
slab character and add to that. Just my tuppence.
Thanks all...I was just messing about as I said when that vehicle popped up here and I had to see it. as it turns out it's a scene worth developing so I will. I'll keep the slab nature of 'em jochen...that's the part I like best. just testing out Danny's free canyon from NWDA atm...fun there a well. It will be tomorrow before it show up though as it was an overnighter render wise.

testing out a pop of a crystal on the larger fakestones...wouldn't be moss in space but we always need crystals since they became our fuel in 2310.
Well I got distracted yesterday on the space scene so this didn't get i the queue till 3 hrs ago and it's still in the sky, sigh. Maybe after supper.
Nice job. Even with all the mist there is still a lot of depth in the image.
So this is where it wound up; with the team finding valuable fuel crystals to fund future exploration.
