Playing too much Assassins creed origins got desert pics on my mind. ;)

Deserts are beautiful. :) Some interesting, varied coloring here. But... is it not an image map by any chance? Some spots look somewhat repetitive. It's nothing bad of course, because the texturing is brilliant. Just asking.

Yes its a texture not a perfect one so there is some repetition when flipped.

you can add a coloured correctly Power Fractal  as a child as a blender and mask it with another one which works not too bad. I, at the start, was totally dependant on image maps as I'm colourblind in critical areas so used textures from a colour grouped directory...now I post and accept colour correction when I'm wildly wrong about my PF colours as the resolution of procedural is the best...

Delving into power fractals as a texture is a new world in itself! Take a quick look at the Materials Library for some great examples.
Not enough can be said about adding the transform input shader (preceding) set to world position and then adjust with rotate, transform or scale!

Your image texture hues are great!
