Title: Blender to Terragen camera motion
Post by: EstebanMax on June 11, 2017, 05:05:17 AM
Hello, in the product description I read: "Additional third party tools are available that allow you to transfer camera motion to Terragen 4 from Maya, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, Blender and others."
I wonder where I can find such tools and in particular for Blender.

Thank a lot
Stefano

You don't need any 3rd part scripts to export Cameras from Blender. Blender can export FBX natively. You may have to experiment a little to get correct rotation orders and scale but it can all be done within Blender.

You actually don't even need FBX.  Blender can export .chan files of camera motion.  It's a simple text format so virtually nothing can go wrong with it.  Then just import it into Terragen.  Works like a charm.
