I'm a big fan of this franchise since I saw the first movie with my father in 1968. I never thought that I would still look forward to it almost fifty years later, and how perfected the special effects have become.

I read the original novel back in the 60s. Pretty interesting. It turned out at the very end of the novel that it was being Narrated from the viewpoint of two chimpanzee astronauts Who were just incredulous that humans could ever be anything remotely resembling intelligent.
