Title: Interesting "discovery"
Post by: N-drju on February 15, 2017, 06:50:29 AM
That's funny... yet, come to think of it, not very surprising!

Upon creating my "HANARC" image I had completely no idea that there also exists a valid scientific concept named "HAVOC", which is based on the very same idea! I learned about it just two days ago - seriously. Long after I completed my render:

Very interesting. :) Especially that me and NASA, working independently, came to identical solutions. ;)

If you did it unmanned then you wouldn't have to bring astronauts back to Earth and it would be much cheaper. So much of it you wouldn't need like the vehicle to return from the blimp into orbit and the return vehicle for getting back to Earth.

If you did it unmanned then...

Then, we'd still be playing with ourselves in LEO like we have for the best part of 60 years. Spaceships should have people in them dammit!!
