Look a bit like a Silent Hill nightmare for me... cool!
A bit denser ground vegetation or more detailwork there and it's even better :)

Postwork? Or just very high bloom and starburst settings?

Post work. Alien Skin Exposure.

It is a nightmare, but not Silent Hill....

Terragen Discussion / Re: Merge shader, or something else?

You won't believe it... :-\

None of the solutions worked because... the painted shader was navy-blue in color! Apparently TG was reading it as a black "no effect" area. I had no idea the color of a painted shader has any meaning!

Terragen Discussion / Re: Rendering Pyramids
« Last post by KlausK on Today at 08:06:17 AM »
hi dorianvan

here is a file that seems to work ok.
At least I cannot make out any artifacts on the pyramids on my monitor.
Compare the sunlight settings. I turned off a few things.
Important seems to be cranking up GI cache detail and GI sample detail, I found.
Turning on Supersample Prepass seems to have the most influence, though.
This all leads longer render times, unfortunately.
The artifacts appear in different places on the objects when changing settings.
Makes it kinda hard to debug...

If that is for a animation as well I would not waste too much time on this now.
Perhaps you could hide some of the artifacts with a little noise on the objects or something...?

Good luck!
cheers, Klaus

Cool. Too bad my line is too slow to watch it nicely.

Thanks, all of you :)

The more often I watch it, the more I like the flashing ball effect...
I think in the final version I'll play around with it and check if I can get it centered on the appearing witch more precisely...

... meanwhile on PixelPlow... ;)
I want another scene with the look of the abandoned gas station in the minutes before the witch appears.
To get a formerly busy and used look of that station I placed many more little details like 4 kinds of rubbish some pumptracks and some tire-stacks all over the station.

The last one is the last test from yesterday before I sent the renderjob to PixelPlow.
(only Detail 0.2 / AA 2 - and I reduced the starburst effect a bit befor I submitted)
The first two are already Pixelplow renders from the night.

Terragen Discussion / Re: Blender to Terragen camera motion
« Last post by jdent02 on Today at 03:13:18 AM »
You actually don't even need FBX.  Blender can export .chan files of camera motion.  It's a simple text format so virtually nothing can go wrong with it.  Then just import it into Terragen.  Works like a charm.
