Title: Blending Terragen 2 with Real World GIS Data
Post by: RArcher on July 31, 2008, 03:59:21 PM
Here is a short tutorial on one (of the many) ways to blend real world geographic data with Terragen 2.  I do not go into very much detail about surfacing and making things look real, but it should be of some help to anyone who needs to know how to place features such as vegetation, glaciers, lakes etc.

The online version can be found here:  http://www.archer-designs.com/tutorials/blending-terragen-2-with-gis-data/ (http://www.archer-designs.com/tutorials/blending-terragen-2-with-gis-data/)

You can also download a .pdf version here:  http://www.archer-designs.com/tutorialresources/terragen2/working-with-gis-data/gis-tutorial.pdf (http://www.archer-designs.com/tutorialresources/terragen2/working-with-gis-data/gis-tutorial.pdf)

If there are any questions, comments, broken links, or things you think are just plain wrong, please let me know.
