Title: Cloud clips
Post by: luvsmuzik on March 27, 2017, 01:39:11 PM
AP's great cloud clip file share. This is #6.

I went back to TG classic and made a terrain with some canyonism and merged it with a fractal terrain.

Okay here: I have set these clouds as high as 5000 feet and I think they are great in preview and then I get these .....
So....I know you can get altitude in a point and click, but I sure do miss the coverage preview in classic. My TG4 gives me a sort of good guess, but what else can I do? Most of my scenes begin at 0,0,0....so should I adjust the cloud deck accordingly? I look at the radius, depth and center as well.

Here I also finally used a power fractal mask correctly for my FSS and plant density. Yippee!

Beautiful results! Especially the clouds in the second render.

Nice and realist light. I like the ground of the third!
