Title: Discussion at the pool
Post by: DocCharly65 on March 23, 2017, 11:43:09 AM
The promised (short) love story  ;)
Towels from Archive 3D.
Sunscreen cream from Turbosquid.
Persons from my last shopping tour at renderpeople.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Riddick and his girl were at the pool early in the morning.
She knew he would leave for the Enterprise in some hours.
It felt so wrong!

She: Please Riddick! Don't go! You know I love you but I get nuts always waiting for you. I can never be sure that you return safely.

She: Isn't it beautiful at our pool in the morning? Why do you have to go, Richard? Tell me! Why?

[attach=2]

He: I am Groot!

I am sorry if some of you may not understand the joke... You'll find out  8)

Hah! You're hilarious Nils. The skin looks pretty decent here, and I guess the flat hair of the girl almost works because it could be wet from the pool. ;)

Thanks  :)

Oshyan, the hair problem was my first thought when I bought the model, too.
Meanwhile I decided not to show the girls face in the animation.
The face and her expression do not fit the scene at all.

Instead we'll have a 300frames animation of her back and Riddick turning his head into the morning sun.
I had to use quite low GI settings to avoid problems with the ponytail. I hope it won't look too bad in the animation.

Very good solution. This is very nice. I was going to say, import the girl into ZBrush and add some fibres to the ponytail, but I hardly think it's worth the trouble.

I knew it, Frame 19 starts the 'back' story I was referring to,  hee hee hee.
