I love the green algae in the water in image1! How did you do it?

Awesome images! Especially the first one  :)

The algae is just a power fractal (grasses surface layer) which I did not use an altitude constraint on. The power fractal uses another power fractal for a mask.

My favorite is the first, Henry. Great! I too like the 'algae'. You can also add (more floating) algae to the water surface itself. This is obviously very shallow water.

Sorry njeneb, Im not sure I understood what you said. Actually, I would like to get to the point where you guys tell me something and I can understand it without seeing the nodes. That would be a treat.

I imagine he just meant it's a powerfractal with grass colors blended by another PF, but not by a distribution shader. So the grass patches are all over, high, low, steep, flat.

Ahhhhhh! Okay, I thought he meant some kind of grass object left floating some how, and blended by some king of PF. HA, see imagine trying to recreate the effect with the wrong thinking  ;)

Dune's explanation is correct Badger.
