Title: Astronomy site in the woods
Post by: Ethrieltd on May 21, 2017, 02:58:24 PM
The two terrestrial landscapes I've done recently led to me doing a third incorporating things I've picked up along the way. Those things being Distribution/Painted shaders and populations of tree/grass objects.

Loads of standard objects in there too and a (hardly visible) guy who's the result of a bit of playing around with MakeHuman.

Found him!
Neat kind of place! Lots to fit into one scene there. I do like those older buildings, someone's old, long-forgotten farm?

All the buildings are from free3d.com with a bit of rexturing in parts. The barrels and other stuff lying about I found in an old folder and forget where they're from. I re-did all the textures for them (they sucked). Rocks are from turbosquid.

Cool!

If you can find a bumpmap for the round observatory and its stones, it will be perfect.
