Too bad when I looked at this picture for the first time that is superb in passing, I would have liked to know how you realized the picture of the earth and clouds with Terragen.

I think he means he used either a previous TG render jpg for his background image, projected through camera or an image he downloaded from NASA ie, or a weather link. When you do this you usually just render the objects and not the default terrain generated in a new file.
