Hehe. That is exactly how I read it from the first.
I've tried to figure out on my own how it's really pronounced, but I had to stick with ocean ;)
Anyway. I think it's a cool name.

I thought it was pronounced Osh-yan as well.

My real first name is Ryan but there is another Ryan on this forum.

JimAward is a re-ordering of the characters of my surname Mijwaard (which is Dutch). 
I don't know if there is a Jim Award prize thing somewhere, but this name sounds funny to me.
