Masking Localized Clouds
« on: March 09, 2018, 08:44:43 PM »
I'm trying to create an aurora borealis effect like seen on Saturn and other gas giants, but when I mask a cloud form (which I figured would be best since I can't mask an atmosphere???) with a SSS it still seems to be effecting the entire planet, even though it is localized to the width of the master SSS.

I'm not sure what settings I threw off to break this, but this is not a problem. I can mask just fine. Something I did just literally caused to to somehow encompass the planet. Cloud shader and made a new one with no issues so far. Now to make it aurora-y
