Watch "The Searchers" (1956) if you get an opportunity. The older guys here have likely seen it.

John Ford shot a ton of shit for that film in Monument Valley. I've had all kinds of difficulty trying to replicate those incredible monoliths (I suspect heavy blue node involvement to achieve this), so I just went my own way
