A Piece of the World
« on: January 24, 2018, 05:08:16 AM »
I am still having fun with the erosion plug-in :)
So I wanted to make something a bit different than the usual landscapes we do.

Nicely done.
I remember when I was at 422 they once asked for a section through the earth just like this for a pitch for a show they wanted to do. My skills were not up to the challenge at the time.

Great creative use of DoF. Your renders always look polished Seth. Looks like a jewel or a really cool board game piece.

Reminds me of the chunks of petrified wood I used to collect when I was a kid. Looks real. Nice work.

thanks a lot, guys !
And btw, I've been asked in private by different users, so I answer here : there is no object import, just power fractals and the great erosion plug-in again ^^

That's what I assumed given your recent testing of the plug in..a very small terrain to start?
