The Blue Marble TGD
« on: May 25, 2012, 01:37:49 AM »
As suggested by Oshyan, here is the TGD for my Blue Marble image. I've labeled everything so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what is what, it's actually the most simple TGD I've used in a long time haha. Hopefully some other people can use it to make something awesome. All the image maps used can be found here:

Hello,

Thanks for your great file!
I have some questions. What image do you donwload from Blue Marble's site for the file "DISPLACEMENT" ? Same for "BETTER OCEAN MASK.

Thanks!

The displacement image map can be found here: http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view.php?id=73934 I used the 21600x10800 jpg. The 'better ocean mask' image is something I created although some generic earth specular maps can be found at http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/earthbumpspec.php
